Mailmarketing has an excellent and longstanding relationship with Road Safety Scotland. This government body requires cost effective storage and highly efficient distribution throughout the year, and mailmarketing has delivered a quality service for over eight years.
In 2010 the client launched a high-profile promotional campaign, with the focus on seatbelts. Road Safety Scotland is working closely with the Police and other partners and, for at least a year, all enforcement campaigns, such as drink-driving, speeding and mobile phone use, are also targeting seatbelt wearing as a major safety issue.
Mailmarketing is responsible for the speedy distribution of over a quarter of a million items, including stickers, seatbelt wraps and flashcards (credit card sized torches).
Mailmarketing responds to requests from Road Safety Scotland to deliver items to stakeholders, including police forces, local authorities, the fire and rescue service and other partners. The requests for promotional items can come in to support a campaign focus in a particular area or to support a special event.
Michael McDonnell, Director of Road Safety Scotland, commented:
“We have an excellent relationship and my experience has always been that the team at mailmarketing is very friendly, helpful and easy to deal with. Nothing is ever a problem and, even when my requests are very last minute, it is never too much trouble for the team. The longer-term relationship means that they have a real understanding of our business, which makes briefing of any new requirements a lot easier.”
